Bereaved children support provision project

After considering the effects of the major earthquake and tsunami that occurred on the pacific coastline in the Tohoku area on 2011 March 11th, we will change the time period for applications for bereaved children graduation grants and the planned payment day in the ways listed below.

This is a system that issues grants to single parent families and orphans when the children graduate or enroll in school in order to encourage the children and promote their healthy development,

This is a system that issues condolence money with the goal of promoting the healthy development and increasing the welfare of bereaved children after one parent or both parents have died. You need to apply for the grant within 6 months after the day of death.

• Children from single-parent households etc. who have not yet finished compulsory education.
   
• Orphans without both parents who have not yet finished compulsory education.
