Concerning the status of City Bus Service

Currently (March 13^th) other than a certain portion of city bus lines, bus service is being provided. Due to the earthquake, we currently have a shortage of fuel. For a short time period, all buses will run on the Sunday/Holiday Schedule. All buses that start service after 19:00 will not provide service. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Changes to the bus schedule due to the earthquake(2011 March 13^th)

-Currently due to the earthquake our bus schedule is currently greatly disrupted.  We apologize for any inconveniences that may occur. The main areas currently not providing bus services are listed below.

• Tanesashi Line
• Chuo Oroshi Urishi Jo ~ Downtown Area(Chushin Gai)
• Same Elementary School Route~ Shirogane~ Downtown Area (Chushin Gai)
• Hon Hachinohe Station~Mippishi Seishi Mae~Tagadai Danchi
• City Rotation Line Shinai Junkan Sen
• Seagull View Hotel Line

Buses heading to Kami Yanagi Machi and Downtown Area(Chushin Gai) from Same, Misaki Dai Danchi and Hiraniwa will not provide service beyond the Laborer’s Hospital(Rousai Byoin)Route. Buses from the Downtown Area(Chushin Gai) will not provide service beyond Oomachi Ni Chome.

Bus service for bus lines other than the ones listed above may be decreased or cancelled as well. For more information please contact the Asahi Ga oka Branch at Tel: (0178) 25-5141.

In addition until bus service is completely restored, we will suspend the [Hachinohe City Bus Service Information] service. We apologize for any resulting inconveniences.

• After March 15^thFor a short time period, all buses will run on the Saturday Bus Schedule. All buses that start service after 19:00 will not provide service.
